Fat Bikes are one of the fastest growing segments within the bike industry and we love them! They can be ridden year round but they really shine in the snow, mud & sand! A fatty will eliminate any excuses not to get out in the fresh air. With many different price points to choose from we are sure we have a fatty for you!
3 Great Fat Bike Options
One of the coolest Fatties we’ve seen this year is the Cannondale Fat Caad 1 with it’s Lefty fork. There isn’t anything else like it on the trail. Lightweight, agile and capable of sucking up the big stuff this guy will go anywhere in comfort and with a quickness!

Trek has been smoking the competition for a few years now with it’s Farley lineup of Fat Bikes. We love the Trek Farley 5 in the sub 2k price range. It offers a huge bang for the bike in function and design. You cannot go wrong with a Farley!

Charge Bikes are a UK based company with a deep history in designing gnarly bikes that just work. They don’t beat around the bush with added stuff you don’t need, their bikes are just plain cool! If you’re in the market for a great starter fatty then you have to keep the Charge Cooker Maxi 1 at $1299 in your sights.

So, there you have it.

I am the third generation manager of Dedham Bike located in Dedham, Ma.
For over 25 years I have been a master mechanic, marketing manager and general manager at Dedham.
I am an avid cyclist and skier and occasionally you will find me running or in the weight room.
My love for bicycles started in the the 1970’s with my first BMX race at a track my dad ran.
Since that time I have raced mountain bikes, road, BMX and cyclocross to many podium finishes including NORBA national victories and multiple series and state championship victories.
If it has two wheels or is a challenge, I’m into it.
