On Sunday Sept. 13 the Dedham Bike Shop crew consisting of Ed & Dave took off to Westwood Mass. for the 6th Annual Hale Reservation Off road Triathlon .
There were hundreds of entrants attending this year’s event ranging from kids to adults.
Saturday night saw the area get dumped with several inches of rain which made things a bit more interesting in the woods during the Mountain Bike and running segments of the race . No road TT bike section here, only off road. Get those knobby tires out there folks…
Dave and Ed were busy all day long wrenching on racer’s bikes trying to keep everyone rolling as best as possible…it was a very fun day for all !

I am the third generation manager of Dedham Bike located in Dedham, Ma.
For over 25 years I have been a master mechanic, marketing manager and general manager at Dedham.
I am an avid cyclist and skier and occasionally you will find me running or in the weight room.
My love for bicycles started in the the 1970’s with my first BMX race at a track my dad ran.
Since that time I have raced mountain bikes, road, BMX and cyclocross to many podium finishes including NORBA national victories and multiple series and state championship victories.
If it has two wheels or is a challenge, I’m into it.
